Kenny Washington, a well known jazz drummer and Juilliard educator, wanted to bring his wealth of music knowledge and collection of rare jazz records to the podcast scene. We’ve built the site prior to the podcast publication so Kenny could promote the website at shows and on social media to garner some traction and get email subscribers.

Drawing inspiration from some of Kenny’s favorite jazz album art, I created a logo, title cards, and several illustrations to bring this website to life. The color scheme features a sepia color palette of browns and creams to further emphasis the podcast name.

Canva is a great design platform for quick content creation without the need for all the design know-how. I loaded Kenny’s Canva account with brand colors, fonts, instrument illustrations and multiple logo options to use when creating social media posts to keep the branding consistent between the website and social platforms.
